Hurricane 2.0

YOOOOOOOOO! So this Hurricane Maria right?! 

Yeah. 

Same deal as last time, got a generator, plenty of food and water and we're on a hill top.  Sooo, yeah, todo bien en la Republica Dominicana!  Have a fantastic day and I'll be emailing at 1 pm EDT tomorrow afternoon!

Here are some pictures taken at the airport before Rhys left on Tuesday, August 15th.  His flight left at 11:55 p.m. A fine group of missionaries all going to the MTC in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.  Most of this group is going to the Santo Domingo West mission, 4 are going to the Santo Domingo East mission, and 2 are going to Barbados.  This is NOT the entire group on the flight.  There were 20+ on the flight from SLC to JFK and on to the DR. These missionaries are all headed for the Santo Domingo East mission once they're finished with their training in the MTC. One last view as he heads off through security, with Elder Malone who is also going to the East Mission.

Pictures from Rhys - Weeks #1 - 3

Rhys was finally able to find a way to upload his pictures, so I thought I'd share several.  Some of them are a little blurry.  I think he was expecting the camera to be a touch more responsive.  There are quite a few here, so enjoy!  All time stamp dates are in the DD/MM/YYYY format and times are in 24HR clock. Rhys and his friends a couple of hours before he left for the airport.  This group has spent many hours at my house playing Super Smash Bros. Rhys and his travelling buddies in the Santo Domingo Airport, Dominican Republic Elder Chu catching a ride through the airport. This is the bus they all rode to the CCM from the Airport.  Check out those curtains! The desk mentioned in his first letter!  Looks like Elder Chu has his own cubby.  Lets just hope they're not sloppy around the sink. Letter from Kelson - Week #23 - The Lord has crazy things in store for me!!!

Good Morning From Sunny California!!! I am suffering from an overabundance of writers block right now...Grrr  Ok I think I am ready... So this past week was one that started off like any other...with P-Day!!! It went like any other p-day, relaxation with a hint of fun. Then the week took off...and then soon died; we had 6 scheduled appointments this week with some really solid people...at least we thought they were solid and they all fell through. Gosh that sucks a lot!!! But with lots of opposition comes great blessings in the near future. After this long week of crappy flaky appointments we had a miracle weekend. It started off on Friday and ended NEVER!!! Our success started with a great lesson to a couple kids named Nick and Ryan who are children of a Recent Convert. We taught them a lesson using a Teabag and a lighter.  It was awesome (If you want to see it have your local missionaries demonstrate it for you...I think they may know what I am tal...
