YOOOOOOOOO! So this Hurricane Maria right?! 

Yeah. 

Same deal as last time, got a generator, plenty of food and water and we're on a hill top.  Sooo, yeah, todo bien en la Republica Dominicana!  Have a fantastic day and I'll be emailing at 1 pm EDT tomorrow afternoon!

Good Morning From Sunny California!!!! It is a beautiful day in the lovely land of California. The sun is shining, the trees are blowing in the wind, the people are just lining up to be baptized, and it all happens to be a manageable temperature of around 90 degrees.  This past week has been super FUN!!! Elder Forsgren and I have been getting along like 2 peas in a pod, except for a little quirk of mine that I need a lot of work on. I have this inability to accept other peoples' service and charity.  I can give it all day long, but then when people offer things to me, or try to serve me I just shoot them down and it makes them feel bad...I don't do it on purpose but it just happens. Letter from Kelson - Week #24 - Being Sick SUCKS!!!

Good Morning From Sunny California!!! It has cooled down sufficiently this past week and it is becoming wonderful!! I love this weather!! I wish It could be like this all the time.  Enough about my weather enjoyment, and the fact the Ohio has no pull whatsoever on the weather side...except maybe the Thunder Storms and Tornadoes!!! I miss you so!!!!  Now on to the good stuff. This past week I must say was pretty freaking awesome, except for the chronic nausea I had all week. It started Monday Night with Elder Leavitt being ill and him being such a gracious companion and passing it along to me. For the next 3 days I wasn't feeling good and he was absolutely fine after Tuesday morning. I learned a few things from this experience: 1. Don't comfort a sick companion or offer to make him feel better by serving him, remember no good deed goes unpunished. 2. Chili's doesn't taste good the second time around. 3. Letter from Rhys - Week # 10 - Teach Repentance and Baptize Converts!!!!!!

Feliz Lunes from the tropical land of Republica Dominicana! Sadly I can’t really remember all that has happened this week though I have it written in my journal, which happens to not be with me right now :-)  So, I’ll just talk about the things that are most memorable! This past Saturday, WE HAD A BAPTISM!!!!!!!!!!  It was a cool young man named Brian.  He's 11 and has been attending church on his own for quite some time now.  Anyway, it was such a cool experience to go to the service and perform the baptism.  We actually showed up late, sadly, because my companion Elder Smith, also being our district leader, had to go to Ozama at 3:00 to do a baptismal interview for the Hermanas [Sister Missionaries] in that area.  They’re super cool, by the way, and there’s a picture coming in with some photos that I’m uploading as I’m typing!!!!!
